We know that speaking to your local and state representatives can often be intimidating. That's why we created the Legislative Kickoff Forum.

This is a chance to sit in a room with some of your local representatives and have an opportunity to share your experiences, voice your concerns, and ask questions about how you can be more involved in the legislative process.

Be sure to join us Thursday, September 24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. We will also be joined by the following partners, and they are excited to also share their resources and networking opportunities! The event is free, but pre-registration is required for entry at the door.

Exciting news! This Sunday, September 13, The Arc of Spokane Thrift Store will be joined by for a Mend-it Cafe at our Argonne location from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

We're all about sustainability (we are a thrift store, after all!), and Spokane Zero Waste's Mend-it Cafes exist to help reduce textile waste, saving Spokanites nearly $50,000 in repair expenses and keeping thousands of pounds of textiles out of the waste stream!

On Sunday, you're invited to our Argonne location to bring two (2) articles of clothing or household textiles in need of repair. One of Spokane Zero Waste's menders will consult with you on the mending required, then get busy making the repair! In no time at all, you'll be on their way (rumor has it, they even darn socks and sweaters!).

🕘Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
📍1441 N Argonne Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99212
