Each group took a moment to express their appreciation for one another.

Meet our Gesa Pavilion Rising Artists Poster Contest winner, Mia Dehart!

Mia is a local high school student who discovered her passion for art at just 11 years old while spending time at her grandparents' house. Ever since, she’s loved diving into her creativity through drawing.

She’s now exploring exciting future paths — from cosmetology school to becoming a tattoo artist!

You’ll start seeing Mia’s artwork displayed throughout the park, and we couldn’t be more proud to showcase her talent.

Join us this Thursday as Mayor Brown and Spokane Parks and Recreation Park Board honor the Six Bridges Arts Association and their incredible staff and volunteers for 44 years of service to our community presenting Pig Out in the Park!

We invite you to celebrate their dedication with us: May 14 at 3:30 p.m. at City Council Chambers in City Hall.

And as a special tribute, the Gesa Pavilion will be lit pink that evening in their honor. 💗
