FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Salary Range: $21.47 – 29.99 per hour
Work Schedule & Location: This is a part-time position (30 hours per week) based in Community Framework’s Bremerton, Washington office.

Position Summary:
Community Frameworks operates affordable homeownership programs in Bremerton and Spokane, Washington. These may involve acquisition, rehab or new construction, marketing and selling homes, counseling buyers to prepare them to become homeowners, providing downpayment assistance loans, facilitating private lender first mortgages, closing loans, and loan portfolio management. Community Frameworks is also a HUD Self-Help Homeownership Program Grantee and uses those funds to make loans and provide technical assistance to homeownership programs in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.
This position provides support to Mid and Senior Specialists or Managers/Directors of the Community Frameworks’ homeownership programs. Occasional support of central administrative operations may also be required.
Duties and Responsibilities – Housing Counseling:
• Client outreach & intake of new inquiries into education, counseling and homeownership activities
• Track intake and client progress in Client Management System
• Assist with periodic reporting to funders and Board
• Assist with collaboration & relationship building in support of program efforts
• Other duties as assigned
Duties and Responsibilities – Homeownership Program & Operations Support:
• Assistance with activities related to program and company marketing efforts
• Assistance with Down Payment Assistance Program intake, data entry, document creation and general administrative tasks.
• Assistance with SHOP program intake, data entry, file management, and general administrative tasks.
• Assistance with maintenance and coordination of program wait lists and client communications
• Download & assembly of loan application packages; document preparation for loan closings
• Maintenance of accurate and complete homebuyer/client files
• Basic duties associated with loan portfolio management (loan servicing)
• Data collection and entry; audit/verification of information; reports; file and records management
• Support in development of applications for grants, loans and other program funding
• Support of administrative operations and senior staff as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
• Two years experience in at least one (or a combination of) the following professional areas: housing counseling, lending, title, real estate, construction, nonprofit programs, office administration or related filed is required
• Knowledge and experience with lending, loan closing, real estate legal documents is preferred;
• Familiarity with office administration preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs is required
• Must be detail oriented, with the ability to operate independently, self-motivate and self-direct, and have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Some travel required
• Physical Demands: Ability to move or transport up to 20 pounds as needed; ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time; ability to position self as needed for routine office work such as accessing filing cabinets or using the phone; ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer; and ability to be mobile as related to business needs.
• Must have a valid Washington Driver’s license and reliable transportation
