The Library will close at 5:00 on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 and will not reopen until Monday. 11/30/2020. The Library will upgrade the computer system over the weekend so it will be unavailable until Monday.

If you are an artist or other craftsman in the Spiceland area we have room for you to display an example of your work. Your library wants to do other things for Spiceland besides loan you books. Hello Spiceland Readers. What are you reading today? WE have the latest Stephen King novel. I'll be done with it in a couple of days. Its called The Institute and its about a secret organization that kidnaps kids with extraordinary abilities. Sound familiar doesn't it. I'm sure he'll add some twist and turns. Keep reading Tom

Hello Spiceland Readers. What are you reading today? I'm reading a lot about baseball right now. Tomorrow is the last day players can be traded from one team to another this year. Teams must decide now if they have a good enough team to go for the world series this year or do they need to try and get better by trading players. Its a good time to be a baseball fan like me. Baseball fans believe that hitting a major league pitchers fast ball is the hardest thing in sports.
In most things failing 7 times out of ten is not very good but in baseball batting 300 or getting 3 hits every 10 times at bat will get you in the hall of fame. Its that hard to do.
