What a wonderful evening at Munn Elementary School as our Drama Club brought Winnie the Pooh to life on stage!

A special thank you to club advisor Katherine Mueller and the many staff and parent volunteers who helped make this production possible. From rehearsals and costumes to set design and behind-the-scenes support, their dedication created an unforgettable experience for our students.

Opportunities like this help students build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and friendships while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you to all of the families, staff, and community members who continue to help make experiences like this possible for our students. Spencerport Central School District

Another incredible night celebrating student theater across Spencerport School District. From our youngest elementary performers to our high school curriculum, it’s inspiring to see our theater program continue to grow and create meaningful experiences for students at every level.

Tonight, we celebrated the high school’s Theater Project class. Students manage all roles related to Theater production. This means students created the marketing plan to promote the show and students also directed and acted as stage managers providing vital, behind-the-scenes support. Lastly, the Tech and Stage Crew were all student volunteers!

Congratulations to all of our students, staff, and volunteers who helped make tonight such a success. Wishing the best to Munn elementary school Drama Club as they prepare for next week’s performance of Winnie the Pooh. Spencerport Central School District

Today our district celebrated the power of parent volunteers and the impact they leave on a school community long after their own children move on.

Congratulations to Christie Cutaia, recognized for Ranger Pride. The co-president of the Bernabi Elementary School Parents Association, Christie has dedicated countless hours to supporting students, staff, families, and BPA events with kindness, energy, and commitment.

With daughter Julianna moving up from fifth grade and son Anthony now at the secondary level, Christie’s service to our school community is far from over. We are excited that she will continue giving back with Cosgrove Lots (Cosgrove Middle School Parents Group). We also appreciate all the support from her husband, Joe, her children and her parents.

Thank you, Christie, for helping create the kind of welcoming and supportive environment that makes the Ranger Experience so special for our students and families. 💙💛

We also extend our appreciation to all of the volunteers who give their time throughout the year to support Spencerport Schools. Your impact is seen and valued every day.

Yesterday’s “250th Celebration of America” Community Concert was a wonderful example of the Ranger Experience and the power of community partnerships.

Presented by the Robert Dean Chorale, the afternoon featured performances by the Melody Makers, Terry Taylor Elementary School Troubadours Chorus, the Middle School Marching Band, Harmonic musical performance group , and High School Treble and Concert Choirs. The event also included the Spencerport American Legion Color Guard, with Town Supervisor Mike Zale serving as MC for the afternoon.

One of the most meaningful parts of the concert was watching students perform alongside community groups and musicians of all ages — bringing generations together through music, patriotism, and community pride.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special celebration possible.

One of the best parts of the Ranger Experience is watching our schools and community come together to support students and families.

For many years, Spencerport Junior Baseball & Softball celebrated Opening Day with a parade on our school campus. One of the most memorable years was during a snowstorm, seven years ago when the celebration moved inside Cosgrove Middle School proving that even the weather couldn’t stop this community from showing up for kids.

This weekend the parade
moved to Pineway Ponds Park in the Town of Ogden for the dedication of the Tony Pisa field, honoring years of service to youth baseball. We are so proud to have built a 15 year partnership with Tony and the Junior Rangers baseball Softball youth organization and honored to attend the event.

On Saturday, the Ranger Experience continued with the Junior Prom, tennis sectionals, student tech crews, A Time for Dance recital, activities, and countless volunteers supporting students behind the scenes — our schools and community continue to create opportunities that go far beyond the classroom.

Today, we especially thank all the moms, grandmothers, guardians, and mother figures whose support, encouragement, and countless hours help make the Ranger Experience possible every day.

Happy Mother’s Day, Spencerport.
