Every spring, our CASA program assembles bags for outgoing kindergarteners in Owen County. The bags include activities and information about community resources and fun family events to participate in during summer break. Thank you so much to the Purdue Extension Office for donating seeds, Spencer McDonald’s and Wendy’s for free happy meal and frosty coupons, the Tivoli for helping with printing and, of course, our wonderful CASAs for assembling the bags!

The Owen County Public Library Reading Program is going online with Reader Zone! This means no more paper reading calendars and an app that will let you see your student's progress in real time.

This program is for kids, teens, and adults!

To join the OCPL Reading Program:

1. Search for Reader Zone in your app store.
2. Install the app on your Android or Apple device.
3. Make an account and enter the OCPL Reading Program Code:
