🇺🇸✨What a way to close out 2025 ✨🇺🇸

Please welcome Makana Little Sky to the South Dakota Army National Guard family!

Makana joined our family today with his family by his side. He joined as a 92G, Culinary Specialist. He is a student at Black Hills State University, he will receive 💯 tuition for this Spring 26 term PLUS he will make even more money while going to school after he completes training. He will get to use his GI Bill, GI Bill Kicker PLUS an extra stipend after he contracts with ROTC to become get to use his GI Bill, GI Bill Kicker PLUS an extra stipend after he contracts with ROTC to become an officer!

I’m so excited for Makana and can’t wait to watch him grow in our organization!

Please, help me welcome Ruby Lensegrav to the South Dakota Army National Guard! 🇺🇸

Ruby is a Senior at Bison High School after graduation she will attend Basic Training and onto Advanced Individual Training where she will learn to be a 94P- Multiple Launch Rocket System Repairer 💥

Today, she was offically sworn in before the entire Bison School District and revieved a standing ovation, markina significant milestone and a moment of pride for the community.

I’m excited to watch Ruby grow as one of our own! Congratulations Ruby & Welcome!

Kolten enlisted as a 12N Heavy Equipment Operator with the in Spearfish.

Kolten is a very recent graduate of and will ship out to Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training after enjoying his summer in the hills!

🎉 Congratulations to Timothy Raysor on his enlistment into the South Dakota Army National Guard as a 91L Construction Equipment Repairer. He will be joining the maintenance asset of the 842nd ENG CO after his training!

Tim is a junior at Spearfish High School and joined under our split train option. He will attend Basic Training this summer, return enjoy his Senior year then after he graduates in May 2026 he will go to his job training, Advance Individual Training. Tim is making the same decision as his older sister PV2 Genesis Raysor, who enlisted about a year ago doing the same thing!

I’m excited to watch you grow within our organization! Congratulations Tim and Welcome to the family!

Michael was sworn in by his brother in law and surround by many family members and friends!

Please welcome the NEWEST member of the South Dakota Army National Guard Aiden Mace!!

Aiden enlisted into our Simultaneous Membership Program. He enlisted into the SDARNG while being contracted with the BHSU ROTC program.

He will receive 💯 tuition assistance plus a ROTC stipend and get paid while attending his once a month weekend drills with the 235th MP Co Military Police Company on Rapid City! 💰 💰 💰
