Daughters of Susan B. Anthony A nonpartisan format for women in Upstate SC to be involved in politics and to effect positive change for women in our local and state governments.

Things to know about us:
— While the Daughters of Susan B. Anthony, as a group, does not endorse specific candidates, we definitely endorse the message of getting more women involved and being "at the table" where vital public issues are discussed that affect all our lives on a daily basis.

— Our members are diverse, and we represent the red, white, blue, and maybe even green!*

— Sharing information pertinent to women in today's political and public arenas, while respecting others' perhaps differing opinions,
— Sharing opportunities to serve on local Boards and Commissions, and
— Keeping members updated on local events and opportunities to help local women candidates ~ yes, we have some! :)

In case you have a few minutes ~ this is a really good listen: "Equality of the sexes has long been a goal, and in many ways that goal is being met. But, as you’ll hear on this program, the variance between men and women on some dimensions is still large. … We’re not trying to start any arguments. We’re just trying to look at the data that show differences between men and women to figure out why those differences exist, and how meaningful they are.
