Last night, we celebrated the heart, hustle, and legacy of Viking athletics at our Viking Athletic Excellence Awards Night. 💙
From championship moments to years of dedication, we honored the athletes and coaches who continue to make SHS proud.
🏆 Highlights from the night:
• Aubrie Lauderdale, our girls varsity lacrosse coach, was named Region Coach of the Year
• Coach G, varsity wrestling coach, announced his retirement after 23 incredible years leading Viking wrestling
• Evers Morris and Jordan Hale-Atkins were named Norse News Athletes of the Year
• Harrison Babb received the J.G. McCracken Athlete Scholar Award with an impressive 5.59 GPA
• The Dobson Memorial Award was presented to Zeke Bell-Boyd and Wade Cooper Neely
• The Lady Vikings Legacy Award was awarded to the girls lacrosse seniors
