Women Giving for Spartanburg is proud to announce the recipients of our 2026 high-impact grants.

On Monday, May 4, we recognized seven nonprofits that our membership voted to receive a combined $175,000 in grants!

Women Giving for Spartanburg has given $3,869,113 in grants since 2008 and we are on track to hit the $4 million mark in 2027!

Women Giving for Spartanburg is excited to recognize our first ever Woman of the Year at our Annual Luncheon this May!

Jan Scalisi was more than a member of Women Giving for Spartanburg; she was a force of nature. From her dedicated service on City Council to her tireless work with organizations like H.A.L.T.E.R. and Hospice of SC, Jan’s life was a masterclass in what it means to give "beyond the norm."

We are seeking nominations for an outstanding WGFS member who embodies Jan’s unselfish spirit and has contributed tirelessly to our organization and the broader Spartanburg non-profit community.
