We hope all of our Homeowners had a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving. We recently had the hedges trimmed starting at Lake Forest Drive along Fernwood-Glendale Road, we had received request from some of our Homeowners that it was hard to see when turning from Lake Forest.
Just a reminder that our dues are being collected, please send yours in today. Our expenses to Duke Energy and yearly maintenance of our Entrance have increased. June Ashby who we contract with to decorate the Entrance at Lake Forest and Seven Springs Road will be decorating this week-end for Christmas. Dues remain only $60 a year however, we do have many Homeowners who contribute $20 to $150 to help cover our increases. We have had several of our Homeowners Dr.John Patterson, Dr. Peter Seraque, James Dunbar, Ted Ballard, Dr. Robert Taylor, pass away in the past three years, these were loyal members not only contributing much more but also contacting other Homeowners to contribute. We will miss them and their willingness to contribute and encourage others to support our HOA. If you haven’t mailed in your dues please do so now, our address is P. O. Box 1922, Spartanburg, S.C.29304. A special thank you to all😊

Wishing all of our Homeowners a Happy and Safe Summer! Please keep your yards mowed, and your property maintained. If you need names of Companies who offer Lawn Maintenance we can provide you with their contact information.
We have a few homes that need maintenance and have reported them to the County. PLEASE help keep our Neighborhood attractive! A reminder to all Homeowners to keep your dogs and cats in your yard, we will report any loose animals to the County and request Animal Control to remove them.
Thanks to the Homeowners who not only paid their dues of $60 but added anywhere from $10 to $100 to help with our expenses of maintenance for the Entrance and keeping our street lights burning.
Happy Summer😊

We want to wish all of our Homeowners a Happy and Blessed Memorial Day. Be safe and please refrain from shooting fireworks after 8pm. We have elderly who go to bed early and also many with small ones who are sleeping. Unfortunately there is no law against fireworks in the county so we ask you to please be considerate, be a good neighbor and do not shoot any fireworks, they are expensive and dangerous, Thanks to all!

A special Thank You to Ronnie Abbott owner of Landscapes Unlimited for refreshing our Entrance and continuing to maintain it year round. He plans to add more plants in the next few days. We are able to keep our Entrance attractive from our yearly dues and especially our Homeowners who contribute extra each year for maintenance. We still have some who have not paid their yearly dues, it’s not too late to send them in and still only $60, our mailing address P.O. Box 1922, Spartanburg, S.C. 29304. Just a reminder that your dues not only pay for the Entrance but also pay Duke Energy for our 38 Street Lights that were recently updated to LED for a brighter light. Happy Spring to all of our Homeowners and thank you for your continued support of our Association.

Good News! Duke Energy is upgrading many street lights in neighborhoods throughout South Carolina. We are one of the ones selected as all of ours are the outdated Mercury lights.and will be replaced with the newer more attractive LED brighter lights. You may recall we paid to have the two lights at the corner of Fernwood-Glendale - Lake Forest and Fairlane for brighter lighting at those entersactions. We are fortunate to be chosen as Duke pays for replacing all 38 of our lights, our HOA will be responsible for the monthly addition to our bill. We are estimating an increase of $2 a month per light adding close to $1000 a year to our Duke Energy bill. We are hoping to keep our dues at $60 a year, we were blessed this year to have many Homeowners that paid $10 to $150 in addition to help cover all of our cost. We hope to see the new lights installed soon. A great addition to our Neighborhood!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of our Homeowners and your families. Please stay safe, we hope you continue to wear a mask when you are out in public, remember unfortunately there are still many who have not received their shots. Booster shots are now available at several pharmacies in our area. A special Thanks to all of you who have sent in your HOA dues and many who sent in additional money to help cover our expenses. May all of you have a happy, blessed and healthy 2022!!!!

We want to thank all of you who are already decorating your homes for the holidays, our decorations are up at the Lake Forest and Seven Springs Entrances. We do have several new homeowners and hope you will decorate your homes for each season. A reminder to all we received many complaints from our Homeowners asking that cars not be parked on lawns, Please only park in your driveway, we want to keep our Neighborhood neat and attractive. Happy Holidays!

We hope all of you had a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving. We are cleaning the Lake Forest Entrance and our Christmas Decorations will soon be up at this entrance and Seven Springs Road. A special Thank You to all of our HOA members for sending in your curent dues and especially those who gave a large amount in addition to the $60 yearly amount. Still as of today half of our Homeowners have not paid. Just a reminder your dues keep our street lights burning, our Entrance maintained, P.0. Box rent, mailings, Tax preporation and filing. These expenses go up every year however, we continue to only require $60, please let us hear from you! Be a good neighbor, we have some new Homeowners, please Welcome them. We are still faced with Covid, do get your shots and please stay safe. Happy Holidays from your HOA.

Our Landscaper Ronnie Abbott has just refreshed our Entrance, we are thankful that it lasted thru the summer with no loss of plants, the rain was just enough to keep all the plants and shrubs healthy.
The maintenance of the Entrance is one of the projects of our Homeowners Association and made possible by our yearly dues of $60 and also the extra of $10 to $150 that some of our members send in to make sure that it is well maintained all year. Our other
major expense is to Duke Energy for the 38 Street Lights paid for
monthly by the Association. A special thank you to our Homeowners who continue to keep their yards and homes well maintained., with the heat our grass needs mowing often, we
appreciate those who do, this shows your care and love for our
Neighborhood. Stay Safe and have a Happy Fall!

It is with great sadness that we notify you of the death yesterday of Mrs. Anne Taylor. Anne was the widow of Dr. Robert Taylor, they have lived in our neighborhood on Lake Forest Drive for over 50 years. Anne remained at home with the help of Caregivers after Dr.Taylor passed away. The Taylors were loyal supporters of our Homeowners Association, Anne served on the Board for many years, she and Dr. Taylor always donated more than just their dues to insure that the Association remained solvent and made sure that our Entrance was maintained. We want to express our sympathy to the family, their passing is a great loss to our neighborhood. Please keep the family in your prayers. There will be Graveside Services on Thursday, 10:00 am, July 29th, Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
