In honor of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday as we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

We are deeply grateful for their service, courage, and sacrifice. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.

Why a campaign now?
Because the need has never been greater.
Record numbers of children are being referred to the Children’s Advocacy Center, while traditional funding sources at the federal, state, and local levels have declined. Simply put, we are serving more children with fewer resources.
That’s exactly why this moment matters.
Now is the time to come together as a community to build something more stable, more sustainable, and more certain for every child who needs us, today and in the years ahead.
The Campaign for Healing and Hope is about ensuring that care is never dependent on shifting funding streams but is instead rooted in the strength of a community that shows up.
Because children can’t wait. And healing shouldn't have to either.

Child sexual grooming is a deceptive process that can look like trust, care, or mentorship, until it’s too late.

It’s more common than many realize:

1 in 4 girls and 1 in 13 boys experience child sexual abuse.

Grooming often follows a pattern, and recognizing it early can help protect the children in our lives.

Understanding these behaviors is key to prevention. Because protecting kids starts before harm happens.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and donated to Race to Healing! Because of your generosity, we exceeded our goal and raised more than $131,000. Thank you for being part of such a memorable evening!
At this year's Race to Healing, we also announced a capital campaign: The Campaign for Healing and Hope.

This campaign is a collective investment of 1,000 gifts for the more than 1,000 children who come to CAC every year. Together, these gifts will secure the future of our critical programs, expand our capacity to serve children in crisis, and invest in the people who make healing possible.

This campaign is intentionally separate from our annual giving, which continues to support our day-to-day services. By building a long-term, stable funding foundation, CAC can rely less on unpredictable grants and ensure that children always receive the care they need, regardless of funding shifts.
