Today, we celebrate Mr. John Micheal Greer and recognize the important role he plays in keeping McCracken Middle School connected, supported, and running smoothly.

His dedication, problem-solving, and willingness to help our students and staff make a difference every day. So much of what he does happens behind the scenes, but his impact is felt throughout our school community.

📚🦅 The McCracken Reading Nest🦅📚

Back for its second year, led by Mrs. Ashton Thompson, the reading nest meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 7:15 am -7:30 am. During this time our Eagles will have the opportunity to gather, read, and share their love of literacy.

This special time is all about building a community of readers, encouraging meaningful conversations, and discovering the joy that comes from getting lost in a good book. 📖✨🦅

Today, our McCracken Middle School Orchestra, under the direction of Mrs. Diehn and Mrs. Rex, led our school in a special tribute to honor the lives lost and the heroes who emerged on September 11, 2001.

Following morning announcements, a three-minute instrumental performance broadcasted throughout our campus as students and staff observed a moment of silence and reflection in remembrance of the events that changed our nation 25 years ago.

We love celebrating the many paths our Eagles can take after middle school and inspiring every student to dream big, work hard, and plan for their future.

TOMORROW (Friday) is National College Colors Day - all D7 students, teachers and staff wear your favorite college shirts, jerseys, or colors! 🎉

This special day is all about celebrating pride, traditions, and excitement while sparking meaningful conversations about college and career aspirations. With our first home football game happening this week, it s also a fantastic way to fuel enthusiasm for football season!

As we live out our mission to Inspire and Equip, College Colors Day is the perfect opportunity to inspire our students and brighten our community with school spirit.
