VFIS of SC shares the same sentiment.
Thank You to all that have served or are currently serving. Especially to those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our Safety and Freedom.

Today, we proudly salute our Veterans — the heroes who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country and communities.

At VFIS of Texas, we are especially grateful for the Veterans among our first responder family who continue to serve with honor and courage.

Thank you for your service.

Please pray for our department we lost one of our own last night in an off duty accident. A young man full of life, passion for his job,and love for everyone he met. The fire service as well as our community has suffered a big loss. Please pray for his family, his brothers and sisters here at Canebrake and Mauldin Fire Department as we all try to carry on to honor our fallen brother. We will miss you D Rev aka The Worm.

VFIS is proud to have pioneered specialized insurance protections for America's emergency service organizations. And, we’re just as proud of our continued dedication to our mission of duty, tradition, and innovation: https://hubs.la/Q03wLmLc0

Our founder, Arthur J. Glatfelter, recognized that the brave firefighters in his community were overlooked by insurers—and felt it was his duty to give them the protections they deserved. That's when he pioneered the first-ever specialized insurance program for America’s volunteer firefighters: VFIS.

While much has changed since then, including expanding our offerings to serve many types of emergency service organizations, our mission has remained the same: do the right thing for hometown heroes.

So, on Insurance Awareness Day, and every day, we’d like to remind you that insurance can mean more than policies and protections. Because, to us, it’s all about advocating for the people we serve and showing up for them, dependably, in the moments that matter.
