The Summer Reading Program is in full swing! We have given away over 100 Swag bags along with signing up those children for the SRP. We have some amazing prizes for those who submit the most number of minutes read. As your child fills up their reading logs, start turning them in to Mrs. Maggie! Remember, in order to qualify for the Summer End Fun & Foam Party, reading logs must be turned in by July 30th!
We still have lots of fun and free summer programs scheduled, so please join us!

Yesterday, we hosted Ranger Misty from Stone Mountain State Park, who taught us about the different furry creatures we might meet when we visit! We learned what kind of jobs Park Rangers do, too! We all enjoyed her book and the conversation of which pelt was softest!
Do you think a bobcat would be softer than a bear? Or is a beaver's fur softer than a mink? Is the bear's coat thicker than that of a deer? Ranger Misty has all these answers! We can find her again at Stone Mountain State Park and she's ready for your visit!
