In today’s 4-H Homeschool activity, the kids worked in groups and took on the challenge of building a protective cover for an egg using “trash” type materials and designing it to survive a 20-foot drop! Some creations passed the test with flying colors, and some eggs didn’t quite make it, but everyone had a great time learning, creating, and problem solving along the way.

Our next White County 4-H Homeschool meeting will be August 10th at 10:00 AM. We would love to invite other White County homeschool families to come join the fun, hands-on learning, and activities with us!

Yesterday’s Friends of 4-H Mini Quilt Class was a full house and such a great afternoon! 🇺🇸

The ladies got started by picking out their flag colors and sewing their quilt tops together. Everyone did an amazing job and it was so much fun seeing each project come to life.

On June 1st, they’ll be back to finish their quilts by adding batting, backing, and doing a little hand quilting to complete their mini flag quilts. We can’t wait to see the finished projects!
