🧀 White County 4-H Homeschoolers — we’re making mozzarella!

Join us next Wednesday, September 9th at 10 AM at the UT/TSU Extension Office – White County for a fun, hands-on lesson making fresh mozzarella cheese!

🥛 Please bring 1 gallon of whole milk per family.

Open to all White County youth in 4th–12th grades. We hope to see you there!

Today, three of our White County 4-H members traveled to Lebanon to compete in the Tennessee State Fair 4-H Public Speaking Contest!

We are so proud of Cadence Farley, Kylie McCulley, and Hailey Rigsby for representing White County and sharing their public speaking skills on the state level. We are proud of the hard work and confidence these young ladies showed today!

We had a lot of fun at today’s White County 4-H Homeschool meeting! Our lesson was all about buoyancy and why boats float.

We divided the kids into groups, gave them time to plan and design their boats, and then let them get to work building! Once construction was complete, we headed over to the pool to put their designs to the test. Some floated and made it across the pool better than others, but that’s all part of STEM—testing what works, figuring out what doesn’t, and learning along the way!
