Sparta Elementary Recognized Among Missouri’s Best for Student Growth!

We are incredibly excited to celebrate Sparta Elementary for being recognized in Saint Louis University’s 2026 PRiME Growth Report!

Sparta Elementary ranked #19 in the entire state of Missouri for three-year English Language Arts (ELA) growth, earning a PRiME Growth Score of 92.9!

We are so proud of our students, teachers, staff, and families whose hard work and dedication make accomplishments like this possible. This recognition reflects what we see every day in Sparta — students learning, growing, and reaching new heights!

We are SO excited to introduce Mrs. Sarah Peterson, our new High School Counselor!

Mrs. Peterson has already begun making a HUGE impact at Sparta High School, and we are incredibly excited to have her on our team!

She has created a one-stop shop for students and families filled with valuable resources designed to support student success, including information and tools for academics, college and career readiness, and more!

🎉 AWESOME NEWS, SPARTA! 🎉

Sparta High School has been recognized as one of the best schools in the area, ranking #8 in the Springfield metro! 🏆

We are incredibly proud of our students and teachers for this awesome accomplishment! This recognition is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence happening every day at SHS.

We are a team of driven educators who are never satisfied with “good enough.” We will continue to reflect, grow, and strive to improve our practice so we can provide the very best opportunities for our students.

🎉 Our First-Ever Club Walk at SHS was a HUGE success! 🎉

Last week, we hosted our very first Club Walk, and over 100 students signed up to get involved in clubs like FCCLA, FBLA, NHS, NAHS, and Science Club!

We also had a booth sharing information about FFA, giving students even more opportunities to get connected and involved.

We LOVE seeing so many students being ambitious, involved, and willing to try something new! 💪

And, of course, KK was mic’d up! 🎤 She hit the Club Walk to ask students and teachers how their first week of school was going!

What a great way to kick off the year! We can’t wait to see what these students accomplish together.

SHS students are BUILT DIFFERENT.

What a GREAT First Week!

What an incredible way to start the 2026–27 school year! Having our hallways, classrooms, and campuses full of students again has been fantastic. There’s nothing better than seeing the smiles, excitement, and energy our students bring each day!

We are incredibly thankful for our students, families, staff, and the entire Sparta community. The support and pride shown for our schools is one of the many things that makes Sparta such a special place to call home.
