From May 18th to 31st, the Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) will conduct its Click It or Ticket campaign. Wearing seat belts is crucial at all times while occupying a vehicle, beyond just the campaign period. As participants in GOHS, officers will vigilantly monitor drivers to enforce adherence to safe driving practices. Drive safe and arrive safe.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who has provided support over the past three weeks, including prayers, donations, participation in the fish fry fundraiser, and attendance at the late Officer Nasser Thompkins' home going celebration. Your kindness has enabled us to navigate this challenging period. We also appreciate the assistance provided by Sheriff Terrell Primus and the Hancock Sheriff's Office with calls and patrols while our department attended the funeral service.

Additionally, we thank Hancock County Constable Richard Mayweather, Sgt. Tampa of Greensboro Police Department, Major Linc Boyer and Officer of Milledgville Police Department, Chief Caldwell and officers of Eatonton Police Department for their support.

Special thanks are extended to Sgt. Gaither of Eatonton Police Department, commander of their Honor Guard, who worked with our Cadet Scott on the flag-folding ceremony.

We appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers. Below are a few photos from the burial ceremony.
