On “Mondays with Ms. Poulson,” Ms. Poulson discussed two topics with students. First, she introduced this year’s theme, “Dream BIG,” and read “When You Dream Big!” All students will decorate a feather in their class this week by adding a word or picture representing a dream or goal.

Next, she talked about this month’s focus, which is Connection, specifically, “How do we make sure that everyone feels like they belong?” We discussed friendship and belonging.

Teachers will select two students from their class who demonstrate these traits—making others feel they belong and dreaming big—to be recognized at the Make Your Mark assembly at the end of the month.
