Dear Neighbors,

πŸ’° Do you know where your property tax dollars go?

Property taxes help fund a variety of services that residents rely on every day. Based on the FY 2025-2026 budget, approximately:

πŸ“š 39% supports Broward County School Board
πŸ›οΈ 34% supports Broward County services
🌳 23% supports the Town of Southwest Ranches
πŸš‘ 4% supports Children's services, Hospitals, Water Management, and other special districts

While the Town receives a portion of your property tax bill, the majority supports countywide services, schools, and special districts.

For a detailed breakdown of how Town funds are allocated, view the FY 2025-2026 Budget at the link below.

Dear Neighbors,

🐾🌿Wildlife Wednesdays 🌿🐾

Welcome to Wildlife Wednesdays, a new weekly series dedicated to wildlife, agriculture, and natural resources that make Southwest Ranches unique.

Each Wednesday, we'll share information about local wildlife, invasive species, habitat conservation, responsible coexistence, and ways residents can help protect the rural character of our community.

This week, we're highlighting the National Wildlife Federation's Certified Wildlife Habitat program. By providing food, water, cover, and places for wildlife to raise their young, residents can create thriving habitats right in their own backyards.

As a Certified Community Wildlife Habitat, Southwest Ranches is proud to support conservation efforts that benefit both wildlife and future generations.

Learn how you can become part of the effort and keep Southwest Ranches wild, beautiful, and thriving. πŸ¦‹πŸŒ»πŸ
