d the Village of Bald Head Island combine for over 28 miles of sandy beaches and some of the most visible lighthouses in North Carolina. For over 200 years the historic coastal community of Southport has guarded the mouth of the Cape Fear River and continues to be the lightkeeper of its history. Boiling Spring Lakes, one of the fastest growing cities in our area, takes its name from the over 50 bubbling spring lakes. James lies along the Intracoastal Waterway and marsh land.

Business Networking After Hours, hosted by Cape Fear Radio and Up Your Arts, was held last evening at Crossroads Gathering Place.

When groups like Cape Fear Radio, Up Your Arts and the Chamber come together, there is power in collaboration and countless opportunities for new connections to be made. The evening brought together business leaders, creatives, and community members to build relationships, share ideas, and strengthen the network that helps our local community thrive.

A big thank you to Addison Sellers, an outstanding athlete at South Brunswick High School who represented the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Oak Island Loggerheads game last evening!

We are proud to see young leaders in our community step up and represent the Chamber with confidence and enthusiasm. Thank you for being a great ambassador for our area and helping make the evening even more special.
