Friends of the Library Southport & Oak Island Provides information about the FOLSOI's activities and programs and offers suggestions for all ages. Come and shop!

Friends of the Library Southport & Oak Island (FOLSOI) is a non profit organization that provides financial and operational support to the Southport and Oak Island libraries to enable them to remain vibrant assets to our community. We are a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the libraries, promoting reading, and inspiring children to discover the joy of books. Through membership suppor

t, we help the libraries improve their collections and keep their supplies and equipment current. In addition to memberships, our used book sales raise funds for our libraries. The “Once More Bookstore” (located at Southport Realty, 727 N Howe St) is open Mon - Fri from 1:00 - 3:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 - Noon.
