The Carroll Dragons basketball team faced challenges in district play this season. After having big success during non-district games, the Dragons lost their first four district games. District 6A-4 is one of the toughest 6A districts in boys basketball this season.

The Championship Dragon Cheer Squad has taken home the ultimate prize, becoming the 2023 NCA High School Nationals Varsity Large Gameday Champions. After winning their fourth UIL state medal, the team went on to dominate on the national level, a feat cheer sponsors Julie Cox and Meredith Davis agree took plenty of grit and hard work.
