Water for Life Program | Nepal 🇳🇵💧

Access to safe drinking water can transform daily life, helping students learn and communities thrive.

HHRD CEO Javaid Siddiqi inaugurated a bio-sand water filtration plant designed to provide cleaner drinking water for a school and its surrounding community. This initiative supports access to safer water and helps reduce the risk of waterborne illnesses.

Day 3 of HHRD CEO Javaid Siddiqi’s visit to Nepal, on October 17, 2026, highlighted efforts to create sustainable livelihoods through the inauguration of the Dhaka Weaving Production House in Jhapa under the Skills Development & Livelihood Program (SDLP). 🧵

This initiative supports traditional fabric weavers by creating opportunities to strengthen their skills, generate income, and build more sustainable livelihoods.
