The Lathrup Village Police Department and Mayor Kantor had the privilege of attending the Southfield / Lathrup Village Optimist Club’s meeting yesterday where we heard from fifth graders about how important first responders are and which profession they would choose. Their speeches were amazing. Southfield Police Chief Elvin Barren, Fire Chief Thornington, Southfield Mayor Siver and several Southfield Public School staff were also in attendance. We appreciate the partnership with everyone.
