Sandhills CAP Located in Yadkin Business Plaza across the street from Walmart's Auto Center (green roof) Serving: Moore, Montgomery, Anson and Richmond Counties.

Community action is here to aid those who are in hard times. Our mission is to help those in need get back on steady ground by setting goals and guiding clients back into self-sufficiency. We help the homeless transition and also aid amongst many other things including, senior living assistance and HECM Reverse Mortgage counseling. Services Offered:
CSBG- Our Stars self-sufficiency program helps l

ow income individuals work to achieve certifications that will provide stronger opportunity for employment. We provide tuition for CNA, Barber School, CDL Training, and other certifications programs etc...

SECTION 8- Provides rental assistance for families and individuals. We recognize the income guidelines and fair market government rents to calculate an amount. Applicants must apply and get on the waiting list; waiting list is pulled by date and time. Single Family Rehab- Provides up to $45,000 in rehabilitation services per household. For elderly, (62 and up), disabled with income at or below 80% area median incomes. (Anson, Randolph and Montgomery Counties).
