ASPIRA of Massachusetts has lost a friend, benefactor and overall generous and caring man. Marcos Rios has supported the mission this organization stands for from the onset of this chapter. Over the years, he never forgot his roots and always said "present" without being asked. His generous support to our scholarship program helped many students accomplish their dreams of higher education. His leadership, knowledge and true caring for his community will truly be missed. Rest in peace dear friend.

In society there are far and few people that impact a person, a group , an organization, and community. When the positive impact is evident, everyone benefits. This week this organization and community lost a mentor, leader and all around good person. Wanda Viruet served on our Board of Directors with enthusiasm and love for our youth. Her ever present “we got this” attitude presented with a smile made her a storm to be reckoned with. Our condolences to her family and may her memories help with healing. Rest In Peace Wanda, you will be greatly missed🙏🏻✝️
