Around 2003, Southborough Fire Department Captain Christian Dano was enjoying a day at Old Silver Beach in Falmouth when tragedy almost struck.

MULTIPLE CALLS: Southborough Firefighters are working multiple emergency calls including a Motor Vehicle Rollover and two Advanced Life Support medical emergencies. Mutual aid is inbound and recall firefighters are en route to cover any additional emergencies.

Members of the Southborough Fire Department extend our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters in the Boston Fire Department and, to the family and loved ones of Firefighter Robert Kilduff, Jr. who tragically lost his life in a three-alarm fire in Dorchester last night.

His dedication to protecting others and his sacrifice in the line of duty will not be forgotten.

Please keep all who knew and loved him in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Southborough Firefighters and Marlborough Fire Department are just clearing a motor vehicle accident on RT495 South involving a motorcycle. One patient was transported by UMass Lifeflight and another by Southborough Ambulance 29 to UMass University ER

Thank you CrossFit TILT for hosting the first of what we hope to be many more first responder fitness classes with to include us, Southborough Police Department, Ashland Fire Department, and Hopkinton FF Local 3772. 

Strong emergency responders are built through training—both on the fireground and in the gym. Today’s firefighter fitness class focused on strength, endurance, mobility, and teamwork to help keep our members healthy, resilient, and ready to serve the community at their best. A dedicated fitness program helps reduce injuries, improve mental wellness, and ensures responders are physically prepared for the demands of the job every day.
