Residents had a great time this afternoon at the SHA’s 2025 Holiday Luncheon. TJ's Food & Spirits provided a delicious catered meal and everyone participated in a holiday singalong led by Tom and Renée. As always, thank you to the Southborough Senior Center for making this event happen each year. The SHA wishes everyone a joyful holiday season!

This morning marks the second event in the Crafty Crew program offered by Southborough Youth and Family Services (SYFS). Last month residents did canvas painting and today they are making diamond painted bookmarks. This program is a great opportunity for residents to explore their creative side while engaging in meaningful conservation with their neighbors. Thank you to SYFS for their continued support and for making this program possible at Colonial Gardens.

The SHA has a dedicated group of residents and community members who meet twice weekly to play cards in the Colonial Gardens Community Room. Today, the group honored their longtime friend and fellow player, Margaret “Peg” McCarthy, who recently passed away, by planting a magnolia tree in her memory. The tree sits directly across from the Community Room - a visible and lasting tribute as the group continues to gather. Thank you to Al’s Landscaping for planting the tree and helping make this tribute possible. We hope it brings comfort to Peg’s family, friends, and the Colonial Gardens community. May Peg rest peacefully.
