The 2026 cultural reset? A gay woman belts "America the Beautiful." An anti-Trump punk band snarls the opener. A Puerto Rican icon dominates the Halftime show entirely in Spanish. And a woman-owned team crushes the Patriots. The future’s arriving, and it sounds like a victory roar.

Good morning-a message from the Town Clerk's office.

Nomination papers for those wanting to run for office for the May 19th Annual Town Election will be available Monday January 26th.

The town clerk's office wants to thank all the dog owners that tried the new dog licensing program, for their patience while we all navigate through this updated dog licensing program. I know it is a bit confusing. We have had 141 out of over 700 dogs licensed so far this year. I will be mailing the licenses today for those who renewed and paid online. If anyone cannot get into the program please either call or email [email protected] with your dogs information and updated rabies certificate info and we will help you out, or you can stop into our office.

We hope everyone received their census forms, please make any changes (if any) sign the bottom and return them to us. If anyone has any questions regarding tax paymrents please call the treasury dept at 413-527-4920.

Thank you for your patience.

Luci.

SAFE COMMUNITIES ACT - OPPORTUNITY TO TESTIFY

PUBLIC HEARING on NOV. 25 at 11:30 am

Message from Sen. Jo Comerford:

I write to share an opportunity to testify on the Safe Communities Act, filed by my colleague Senator Jamie Eldridge. The bill, S.1681 – An Act to protect the civil rights and safety of all Massachusetts residents, will have a public hearing on Tuesday, November 25 at 11:30 a.m.

From Senator Eldridge:

The new federal administration will use every tool available to deport members of our immigrant communities, including our police and courts. This misuse of public safety resources drives a wedge between immigrant communities and the public institutions that protect and serve them.

That’s why the Safe Communities Act has earned the support of police chiefs and district attorneys across the state. The Safe Communities Act would limit the participation of our police, courts and correctional personnel in civil immigration enforcement, so that immigrant state residents can seek help and protection from our police and courts without fear of immigration consequences.

Learn more about the legislation here.

More information on this hearing and how to testify is below. Thank you for considering this opportunity to engage in the legislative process.
