Participants must bring their own clean, cotton, white t-shirt. Available while tie dye supplies last. We hope to see you there!

Join us at the South Windsor Public Library this Wednesday, June 17, at 6:00 PM, for South Windsor: Past and Present!

Stephen Armstrong will examine the history of South Windsor from its beginning to the present day. We will discuss who came to South Windsor in the past and why South Windsor is a magnet for new residents today. See photos that demonstrate the dramatic change that has happened in the community, learn about the important figures in South Windsor history, and share your stories and remembrances of the development of our region. We hope to see you there!

Thank you to everyone who's already sent us their completed squares for our South Windsor community quilt! These squares include Desmond's Pond, the Community Gardens, Veteran’s Memorial Park, and more.

There's still time to create a square for our community quilt! All skill levels welcome, no past quilting experience required. For more information about designing your square, email Audrey, our Emerging Tech Librarian, at [email protected].

We will be assembling our completed squares into a community quilt at the South Windsor Public Library on Tuesday, June 30, at 6:00 PM. This quilt will be on display in the library's Stairwell Gallery throughout the month of July.
