Thank you to everyone who turned out at to South Windsor's Public Library and Senior Center to learn more about the extent of slavery in the area during the colonial period. There were a lot of interesting & informative discussions at the first two presentations. Visit the supporting exhibit on display now at South Windsor Library in honor of Black History Month and don't miss the opportunity to learn about Dr. Primus Manumit, Prince and Flora among others on February 27th during Presentation Part II: Slavery in South Windsor.

Friends! Blowout sale in the gingerbread gift shop this final weekend. When we packed up the festival to bring to nomads, we uncovered a lot of old decor, craft supplies, staging baskets and items donated to sell in the shop. Open Saturday til 7 and Sunday 10-5. www.gingerbreadct.org
