South volunteers were awakened this morning with a single vehicle accident in the area of 1600 Riverside Dr with pole and wires down. Thank you to our mutual aid partners for assisting.

Riverside will be shut down from Beech to W Southern for several hours this morning.

3 members work hard in the water this weekend completing their EBOR (Emergency Boat Operations for emergency Responders) to further their training and the next steps to becoming swift water technicians within the department. D. Brady, A. Wacks, and M. Watson spent classroom time yesterday during the morning and the remainder of their weekend class on the water learning how to properly operate the vessel with different maneuvers and how to rescue victims from the water as well as their selves! Thank you to Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Co. for hosting this class.

We will be joined by former members of the Susquehanna Valley Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team and a retired NYPD officer who were involved in recovery efforts at the World Trade Center following the attacks.

Our guests will share their personal experiences, memories, and reflections from their time at Ground Zero during the fall and winter of 2001.

Together, we will remember those who lost their lives, honor the brave men and women who responded, and reflect on the lasting impact of that day.

This will be an evening of remembrance, conversation, history, and honoring those who served.
