Honoring Service, Supporting Transition: The M2VA Program
After the tragic events of 9/11, our nation committed to ensuring that every Post 9/11 Veteran has the support needed to navigate the transition from military to civilian life. That’s why the Military2VA (M2VA) Case Management Program was created and designed to connect Veterans to VA health care, benefits, and specialized transition assistance when they need it most.
This morning, during a special gathering in the Rose Garden, the M2VA team recognized SAVAHCS staff who have gone above and beyond in support of Post 9/11 Veterans. Lynn Pion-Kurpiewski, Program Manager for M2VA, presented 1st in Service Certificates, honoring individuals and teams whose dedication has made a meaningful impact on the lives of Veterans. These certificates highlight unwavering commitment, excellence, and the compassion shown to those who have served.
Moments like today’s celebration remind us that caring for Veterans is a community effort and it’s stronger because of people who continually go the extra mile.
