The Haunt Review

The Haunt Review Screaming at the scariest haunted attractions in America! You might be scratching your head while wondering what exactly FrightTour is about. What is FrightTour?

Well this page will hopefully answer all of your questions & give you a better idea of what we do. FrightTour is an annual tour in search of the scariest haunted houses, mazes, cornfields and hayrides in the Northeast. During the later portion of September and the entire month of October we scream at a comprised list of hand selected haunted attractions code named “FRIGHTS”. Then just like a tour

schedule each FRIGHT is visited on a specific date. During our visit we are thrown into the mayhem just like the rest while sampling each attraction. After our hopefully, screaming visit we post a review of our experience and determine the appropriate FRIGHT RATING. What is a “Fright Rating”? A Fright Rating is an official FrightTour rating that is determined after we have sampled the FRIGHT. Fright Ratings range from 1 to 5 FRIGHTS. The higher the score the better, meaning you need to get yourself there! These ratings are shown below:

So you now know what FrightTour is about. However, you might be wondering why we do it? What is a "Side Fright"? Throughout the year you might come across a review for a haunted attraction that we brand as a "Side Fright". Considering our Annual FrightTour only showcases haunted attractions located within in the Northeast we cannot add these locations to our tour... However, we will never experience a local attraction that isn't part of our annual tour. We want to make sure each location is brand new to us and receives a fresh review. Do you review Theme Parks? At first the site catered to just theme parks like Kings Dominion, Six Flags Great Adventure & Dorney Park. However, after three years we noticed that the corporate overhang of these major establishments limited the scenarios & overall execution of the event. Therefore, we switched our focus from theme parks to those attractions housed at run down buildings like Terror Behind the Walls, cornfields like Field of Terror and deep woodlands like Valley of Fear. We immediately noticed a large following and struggled with our overall image for a year or two but finally decided to cater to only the Northeast considering there are a fair amount of FRIGHTS in the region. What is our main goal? Before FrightTour was created we spent countless hours combing through numerous sites for the best screams during Halloween. However, we were always plagued with the question, “How can the owners of these sites know what is the best if the site caters to a national audience?” There is no possible way they could sample every haunted attraction in the United States. Usually the FRIGHTS listed as the best of the best weren't so and we were left with empty pockets and perfectly clear voices. So we set out to provide everyone with the truthful information regarding the best places for a scream during Halloween. Our reviews are truthful but in a respectful tone. If we weren't impressed, we are not afraid to post just that. We all know screaming in a haunted house can cost you anywhere from $15 to $65. So why not make it worth the money spent by helping you decide where to spend your money!

Good evening my fellow haunt owners, reviewers and lovers of Halloween! This is Louis from FrightTour!

Those who met me during my FrightTour journeys met my mother...Laura. She loved haunted houses even at the age of 60. She would come with me to Maryland, Upstate NY and in our backyard to any haunted house I wanted to venture too.

She was my best friend, my rock and the life of the family. She recently passed away at the age of 66 very unexpectedly. She left behind my brother and I who now have to pick up the pieces and figure out how to move on without her.

We are looking for any sort of help regarding funeral expenses and her final wishes.

Life is cruel...life is unfair... January 24, 2026 is the hardes… Lou White needs your support for Help Lou & Family with Laura and her final wishes...

Alright folks!

FrightTour became FrightReview and now FrightReview is The Haunt Review! Yes, I know this is rather confusing and a little too much. However, here is why I have decided to rebrand again.

Sometimes you set something up and forget it's linked to an older phone number. Given so many applications and platforms have two-factor authentication set up...I have lost access to my OLD YouTube Channel. Don't worry, the videos aren't going anywhere. But all future videos will NOW be posted to a new Channel.

After hours and hours of trying to verify the account and get YouTube to give me back access, they will not budge. I mean come on; I am on freaking video there! But any who, NOW we have a full brand-new site name, new YouTube Channel and honestly, I am rather excited because it has forced me to change some things about the main site.

Regional Database:
The regional database is no more. Instead, I will host my official video reviews there. So, if it has not been reviewed, it will not be listed.

Site Downsizing:
There were A LOT of unneeded pages and information posted to the site. Now it's streamlined because let's face it, the main attraction of the site is my videos!

The New Name:
As for our new name, not many people associate Fright with a haunted attraction. However, now that I am The Haunt Review, it should tell people what I am all about!

YouTube Channel:
The old channel will still remain unless I can get YouTube to remove it. But I do not think that will happen. However, going forward, please direct yourself to my new channel and do not forget to subscribe! You have a full year! Don't worry it's blank for now, but soon will be full of awesome video reviews!

‼️ ATTENTION ‼️

Earlier in the year, FrightTour became FrightReview. However, due to an issue with the domain and YouTube...FrightReview, formerly known as FrightTour will be renamed and rebranded AGAIN!

I know that this is confusing and some of you might be scratching your head, wondering what the hell is going on. But in due time I will explain it all and drop more updates!

Until then, Happy Screaming!

Friendly reminder!

FrightTour, now FrightReview will not be SCREAMING during the 2023 Haunt Season. I will be back to screaming in 2024!

Hey, screamers! I wanted to give you all an update on the 2023 Review Season...

FrightTour has undergone a revamp, and we are NOW known as FrightReview. In addition to the new name and brand, we are extending our reviewing reach out from the Mid-Atlantic and New England states to everywhere in the United States!

This means we are comprising and filling in our National Database of every haunt in the country from Alaska and Hawaii to Florida and Maine. This, of course, Takes time, and we will be rolling out updates as we complete each state.

In addition to the site wide changes, my personal life has undergone some revamping as well. Therefore, the 2023 season will be a break year for me as I continue to work on the site, roll out new things, and move through the new changes in my personal life.

I appreciate ALL of you so much in continuing to follow me and watch my reviews. See you in 2024!
