This year, Columbus Community Center proudly celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Heroes at Work Awards—our signature event honoring individuals and organizations who lead with purpose, open doors to employment, and champion inclusive communities.

To mark this milestone, we will host a formal Heroes Celebration Dinner at the Viridian Event Center in West Jordan.

This special evening will recognize the legacy of past Heroes whose impact has helped shape the event and advance workplace inclusion over the past two decades.

The South Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce would like to inform local businesses that the South Salt Lake City Council will hold a public hearing regarding proposed amendments to the city’s Transportation Utility Fee (TUF).

Public Hearing Details
Date: Wednesday, May 13
Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: South Salt Lake City Hall, 220 East Morris Avenue, Suite 200 – City Council Chambers

The purpose of the hearing is to present and receive public input on proposed changes to the Transportation Utility Fee (TUF), which helps fund the maintenance and improvement of the city’s transportation infrastructure.

The meeting agenda will be published on the afternoon of Friday, May 8.

Please note: there will be an option to listen to the meeting online; however, public comment cannot be submitted virtually and must be made in person.
