South St. Paul Public Schools

South St. Paul Public Schools SSP Secondary/CLC | Lincoln Center Elementary | Kaposia Education Center | Community Education South St. At any age, South St.

Paul Public Schools takes pride in the variety of academic, extracurricular, and enrichment activities it provides. Sharing our borders and resources with the community of South St. Paul, you will find us large enough to serve, yet small enough to care. We are Minnesota's first K-12, IB World Schools District. Our high school has offered the prestigious IB Diploma program since 1986. We provide the IB Middle Years Program (MYP) in grades six through ten. Our elementary schools carry the IB Primary Years Program (PYP) from kindergarten through grade five. Paul Public Schools offers opportunities to learn, to grow, and to succeed. Stand up and cheer for our Kaposia — for we are the home of the Packers!

Is this a safe space to be? Lincoln Center students know the answer! Asst Principal Ms. Bernard demonstrated how staying too close to the bus or in areas the driver can’t see can be unsafe. LC students reviewed safety tips for riding, boarding, and exiting, including what to do in an emergency. Now they’re ready to put those safety lessons into practice!

Integrity is how we show up as Packers. It means being honest, making thoughtful choices, owning our actions and treating others with respect. Our student leaders, like our middle school DUCKS (Driven, United, Caring, Knowledgeable Students) show how leading with integrity helps build a community where everyone can count on one another.

Why Attendance Matters: Every school day is an opportunity to learn, build relationships, participate and stay connected. Regular attendance helps students stay on track academically and make the most of their school experience. We know absences happen, but making attendance a priority can make a big difference. https://www.sspps.org/support/attendance

Packer Pride starts early! Our newest Packers are already showing what it means to be part of a welcoming, inclusive community. From wearing their very first Lil Packer T-shirt to creating new traditions, every student has a place in our Packer family. Pride is one of our core values: honoring where we’ve been, celebrating who we are and inspiring what comes next.
