Update: We are back online!

The Lawshe Museum is currently experiencing a communications outage, which has interrupted service for our phones, email, elevator, and some other systems.

But we are still open for visits and can facilitate research in our paper archives! Technology can't keep this old place down (just make us a bit harder to get a hold of!)

Plan your visit to the Sibley Historic Site accordingly.

On Saturday, May 30th, the site will close early due to a private event. Tours are available in the morning, but there will be no 2:30 p.m. or 4 p.m. tours.

Due to a private event on Saturday, May 30th, we will close the Sibley Site at 2 p.m.

We will be open in the morning, but will not have the 2:30 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. tours.

The Lawshe Memorial Museum will be closed on Saturday, May 30 (you can visit the staff at the Sibley Historic Site!) and on Saturday, June 6 (visit us at WestFest instead!)

We love your kids (and hope they'll come and play in the exhibits!) but the Lawshe Museum is updating our policies and requires that all minors to be accompanied an adult, for both their safety and ours!
