For Burger Monger, contributing to the community is already about more than serving food.

Recently, Burger Monger General Manager Kurt Dillon worked with local officials to facilitate the donation of 80 pounds of chicken to those in need. Today, the donated chicken was picked up by the St. Petersburg Free Clinic to help feel those battling food insecurity.

South Pasadena Mayor Arthur Penny, Vice Mayor Tom Reid, and Gulfport Councilmember Jennifer Webb were onsite at the pickup to recognize Burger Monger for their generosity.

Burger Monger may be new to South Pasadena but they are already proving themselves to be a valuable community partner.

What an incredible community effort!

As our Cereal for Summer Food Drive comes to a close, we're overwhelmed by the generosity shown across our community.

Thanks to the support of residents, businesses, community groups, and local partners, we collected more than 500 boxes of cereal to help provide breakfast for local children throughout the summer months.

A special thank you to Bay Island, Burger Monger, IAFF Local 747 Firefighters Union, Feeding Tampa Bay, and 10 Tampa Bay for helping make this campaign such a success.
This food drive is a great reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a common cause. Every donation will help ensure local children have access to a nutritious breakfast while school is out.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our posts, hosted collection boxes, and helped spread the word. Together, we've made a meaningful impact, one bowl of cereal at a time.

Several local law enforcement, private groups and local donors dropped off thousands of cereal boxes Friday.

Residents can obtain a library card for use at any PCLC library for an annual fee of just $25.

Getting started is easy:
✅ Visit South Pasadena City Hall to pay the fee and receive a voucher
✅ Redeem your voucher at the St. Pete Beach Library to obtain your library card

City Hall Hours:
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Payment accepted: Cash or check only

If you are unable to make it up to the second floor, we are happy to meet you downstairs with a voucher to help you complete the process.

Preparing today means being safer tomorrow.

On Saturday, residents of Causeway Village joined Chief Mixson for an informative Hurricane Preparedness Presentation focused on storm readiness, emergency planning, and resources available before, during, and after a hurricane.

Thank you to everyone who attended and took the time to learn how to better protect their families, homes, and neighbors this hurricane season. Community preparedness starts with being informed. We can build a more resilient South Pasadena together.
