This morning at 8:44 Oxford County Regional Communications received a call from a Paris resident stating there was a suspicious male walking around her property, looking in her windows. The caller then stated the male was attempting to gain access to her home and climbed up on the roof of the home. While the caller was on the phone, she advised dispatch the male fled into the woods

Paris police officers arrived on scene and Detective Pyburn quickly deployed K9 Rocket. After about a .25 of a mile track the suspect was located by the K9 team and taken into custody without incident.

Malachyte Lamos, 21, was charged with trespassing and was booked at the Oxford County Jail.

If you see (or hear) K9 Rocket around town today make sure to tell him he’s a good boy! 🐾

Good Morning Paris! Tomorrow, April 26th from 10am-2pm we will have an officer at the station for Take Back Day. Bring by any old or unwanted prescription drugs for safe disposal.

Corporal Federico and our newest patrolman, Officer Cole, took a break from field training today to speak with some young entrepreneurs in South Paris. The lemonade was 10 out of 10! Support our local youth and give the lemonade a try!
