CINC Gallery Launches in Downtown South Orange

CINC Gallery is a new public art program featuring original work by local artists in large street-facing window vitrines on 86 Sloan Street. Free and open 24 hours a day, the gallery brings art directly to the public.

The inaugural exhibition, GOLDEN HOUR, runs June 4–July 24, 2026. The opening reception on Saturday, June 6 timed alongside the kickoff of the South Orange Downtown After Sundown summer concert series.

The exhibition invites artists to respond to the theme of “brightness” — the warmth of summer light, long evenings, and a neighborhood at its most vibrant.

Title: Town Hall on Housing & Development
Date: Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 7-9 PM

Description:
June is National Homeownership Month. To make homeownership accessible, we must address the rising costs that are challenging socioeconomic, racial and generational diversity in South Orange and Maplewood.

“Sleep and Sleep Disorders in Older Adults”

Morrow Memorial Church

Ridgewood Road, Maplewood

Thursday, June 11, 7:30 pm

Please join us for a topic that seems to be on everyone’s mind these days: sleep—or more accurately, the lack of it. Our special guest, Elissa Kozlov, PhD will discuss age-related sleep changes and why sleep remains essential for mental health, physical health, safety, and overall well-being. She’ll also discuss several sleep disorders frequently seen in later life, including insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, REM sleep behavior disorder, and the available treatment options.

Elissa Kozlov, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Behavior, Society and Policy at Rutgers School of Public Health, where she also serves as Director of the Population Aging Concentration. Dr. Kozlov’s work spans aging, mental health, sleep, palliative care, and technology enabled interventions designed to improve quality of life.

RSVP by June 8 to Alan at [email protected].
