Look at this Lakeview 5K celebration of learning. Kindergarten students read their writing about "then" and "now" to their families. To add to their learning, they made ice cream the old fashioned way, played Jacks (an outdoor games from the past) and "shopped" at a penny candy store.

7th grade ELA students studied different types of poetry and crafted their own haikus, blacked out poems, spoken word, and free verse poems. Students then participated in a poetry slam to share their writing with the classmates as part of the 7th grade speaking and listening standards. of the risks our students take on a daily basis.

SDSM SUPERSTAR 🎈🎉✨
Special Education teacher and SDSM Social Media Manager Natalie Eiting was recently awarded the Wisconsin School Public Relations Association (WSPRA) Amplify Award for her work over the last seven years.
Mrs. Eiting created the plan and process for how we share all of the amazing work our students and staff do each day, and her system makes sure we can keep it up year after year.
