Veterans know sometimes it wasn’t love for the job that kept you there… it was commitment, your brothers and sisters beside you, and maybe a little government paperwork motivation.

Wow! Erik Barden, You're a True Inspiration! 🎉

Can we get a huge round of applause for Erik Barden, Operations Supervisor at SEMCO?! This amazing guy just walked a mind-blowing 90 miles in the Third Annual Walk for Warriors, hitting events in Washington D.C., Richmond, MI, and Holland, MI! Seriously, 90 miles!

Because of Erik and all the fantastic participants, we raised nearly $46,000 to support veteran mental health and su***de prevention. This means so much to our heroes and their families. Every step Erik took helps provide crucial care.

Erik, your heart and dedication are truly inspiring! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being such a champion for our injured soldiers. You're the best!

⭐️ Employee Spotlight ⭐

Following Memorial Day, we're highlighting Operations Supervisor, Erik Barden who recently walked 90 miles in support of veterans! This year, SEMCO held its Third Annual Walk for Warriors which supports veteran mental health and the national non-profit Operation Injured Soldiers .

Erik participated in three of the 30 mile walks — in Washington D.C., Richmond Michigan, and Holland Michigan. The walks raised around $46,000 toward veteran mental health.
