We are looking for two things to make the day a success:

Busch's Fundraising- Cash for Education

Don't forget to update your Busch's MyWay shopping card! Login to your MyWay account, click the drop down menu from your name in the upper righthand corner, and click Cash for Education. Select Brummer Elementary- BNC to earn for our Bobcats! www.Buschs.com/MyWay

Simply shopping at Busch's helps our kiddos, and although we are done fundraising for our current fifth graders' camp fund, starting with this quarter, our current fourth graders can start saving for camp next year! Busch's sends the BNC an itemized list of all participating Brummer families and we will apply the funds raised by your family to your child's camp account. No need to check in with us! 🐾

✨📚We are so excited to be bringing the Family Reading Night back this week! Please join us on Wednesday March 15th for a fun night out for our families! We will have D&W’s Street Eatery. and Rollin Stone Wood Fired Pizza food trucks, local author Denise Brennan-Nelson visiting, games including Book Bingo, stories with our teachers and the book fair! Activities will run 5:30p-7:30p, with food trucks and book fair being available 5:00p-8:00p. We hope to see you there!

A fun week ahead for March is Reading Month: Drop Everything and Read this afternoon, our visiting author and illustrator Philip C. Stead on Thursday, and our Bobcats preview the book fair at the end of the week

🏆 Our first round of Caught Reading winners were announced today! The kids had the opportunity to earn tickets from various staff members all week by being caught reading in non-assigned times. Our Bobcats were excited all day to see who would win the first 8 books! Keep reading Bobcats- the next set of books are ready for your tickets 🎟️ 📚

📚Brummer is kicking off our favorite time of year today...March is Reading Month! As a school we will be reading the book, Weird Little Robots. Your family's copy of the book will be coming home today, along with further details regarding reading month. It will travel home with your oldest if you have more than one child at Brummer.

The BNC-PTO was very lucky to partner with CD Orthodontics in New Hudson to bring a copy of the book each family at Brummer. Dr. Chrissy DeMarti has been a huge supporter of reading, and we are sending a thank you her way!

We are so excited to read this book together as a school!

We have a student preview day scheduled for Thursday and Friday March 9th and 10th with classroom shopping Monday, March 13 - Wednesday, March 15. There will also be shopping available during the Family Event on Wednesday March 15th. More details to come!
