The Friends are looking for boxes like these for book donations!

The Friends of the Salem-South Lyon District Library work hard to raise money and support the Salem-South Lyon District Library by selling used books, and they're currently in need of boxes. Specifically, they're looking for Ga***rd boxes, which are large and heavy duty (like watermelon boxes at the grocery store).

Anyone have any leads?

The Friends are pleased to be able to announce the 2026 "Imagine the Possibilities" Scholarship Recipients: Mackenzie Ziegler and Soren O'Dell!
A big thank you to those who make this scholarship possible - the leadership of Rachael Showerman and the Scholarship Committee, the support of the Library staff, the generosity of Agnes Bongero and everyone who donates books to (or buys used books from) the Friends Book Room. And thank you to Mayor Steve Kennedy for honoring our recipients!
