Fall Hours Begin Tuesday, September 8! 🍂⛳

Bijou Golf Course is transitioning to its fall schedule:

📅 September 8–October 4: 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
🕔 Last tee time: 5:00 p.m.

📅 October 5–October 25: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
🕒 Last tee time: 3:00 p.m.

Please note: Sunday, October 25, is the final day of operations for the season.

Fall mornings may bring frost delays. Please call 530.542.6097 before heading to the course for current conditions and updates.

New Adult Basketball League -Wednesday Nights! 🏀

El Dorado Beach Closure Begins September 8

The City of South Lake Tahoe will begin Phase 2 of the El Dorado Beach Revetment and Improvement Project on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

This work will replace temporary plastic sandbags with a rock revetment to stabilize the shoreline, restore sand to maintain the beach area, trim exposed geotextile fabric, and repair the boulder revetment on the east side of the beach.

Construction is anticipated to be complete by October 15, 2026, though the schedule may change due to construction progress, weather, or permitting approvals.

For public safety, the following areas will be closed during construction:
- El Dorado Beach
- Lakeview Commons
- El Dorado Beach boat ramp
- Lakeview Commons/Boat Ramp parking lot

Thank you for your patience as we make long-term improvements to protect and enhance this important shoreline area.

Experience Tahoe Mountain Aikido at the Multicultural Celebration! 🥋

Join us on Saturday, September 12, from 11 am - 3 pm at Bijou Community Park, where Tahoe Mountain Aikido will perform a live demonstration on the Main Stage at 11:30 a.m.

Interested in learning more? Their upcoming session at the Rec Center starts next week, on Wednesday, September 9.
