Cal Tahoe Emergency Services Operations Authority Under our contract with El Dorado County, we provide ambulance services to the South Lake Tahoe area and parts of North Western Alpine County.

The California Tahoe Emergency Services Operations Authority is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) that was formed in 2001 by the City of South Lake Tahoe Fire Department and Lake Valley Fire Protection District.
