Stop by tomorrow, September 13, for an afternoon of shopping and family fun.

From 12–3pm, the kids can enjoy a bounce house and face painting while you grab something to eat from the food truck or enjoy grilled favorites from Johnny B’s BBQ. And don’t forget to browse the Shops and check out what our local vendors have to offer!

Street paving is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, September 12, in the area surrounding Veterans Memorial Park.

The following streets will be impacted:

• E. 160th Place between South Park Avenue and School Street
• Parkside Drive from E. 160th Place to Riverview Drive
• School Street from Riverview Drive to E. 160th Place
• Veterans Park Drive

Drivers should expect temporary closures, delays and limited access while paving is underway. Please use caution around crews and equipment and consider an alternate route when possible.

The annual Heritage Fest is this upcoming Monday, 10-4pm, a celebration of local history and tradition.

Spend your Labor Day at Paarlberg Park, exploring handcrafted goods from crafters and wood carvers, sampling traditional Dutch favorites, and enjoying a live performance by the South Holland Municipal Band.

Tonight is the night. We’re ready to light up the sky! ✨🎆

Join us at South Suburban College at 6pm for our rescheduled America 250 Fireworks Show. Fireworks will begin at 8pm.

Food trucks and vendors will be available from 6-7:30pm, in the main lot.

We’re lighting up the night!

The postponed America250 fireworks celebration has been rescheduled for this Friday, August 28 at South Suburban College.

Bring your family and enjoy a fun drive-in atmosphere for the fireworks show! Arrive early, park with friends, and enjoy food trucks, vendors, and live entertainment before the show begins. The show is FREE for everyone.

Parking lots open: 6pm | Fireworks show begins: 8pm

The following vendors will be in the main lot of South Suburban College from 6-7:30pm:
Joey's Red Hots
Harold's Chicken
Tacos Tío Rafa
Shawn Michelle's Ice Cream
Yummies Drinks
SoHo Shops Vendors
Glow and Light-Up Items

Cover band Party Foul will perform from 6-8pm in the main lot.
