Great Thursday Morning All!! I'm a little stuck with this one and I need some input.
WHY in A Nation with History of Proven Structured Disparity, Discrimination and Inequities, would this Government office now be considered discriminatory???

Given U.S. History and the reason these agencies were created, Keep in mind that No Race or Minority Groups Were Ever turned away for services highowever the most disadvantaged Races and Minorities were said to be given priority due to the Discriminatory Imbalance in the Economy, Redligning, Elitism, and Classism. YOUR THOUGHTS!!

A federal judge in Texas has ordered a 55-year-old U.S. agency that caters to minority-owned businesses to serve people regardless of race, siding with white business owners who claimed the program discriminated against them.

Among African American adults, 87% of diabetes cases are type 2. This statistic highlights the importance of preventive care and lifestyle modifications in reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes within minority communities. Factors such as genetics, obesity, and socioeconomic status contribute to the disproportionate burden of type 2 diabetes among African Americans. By promoting healthy eating habits, regular physical activity, and diabetes screenings, we can empower individuals to take control of their health and prevent diabetes-related complications. Nine years ago, I stood with President Obama as he designated Pullman a national monument. I will always be an advocate for the Pullman community and Pullman National Park as we work to preserve this important piece of U.S. history.

People Who Get Into Good Trouble!!!

Congressman John Lewis was a hero, an inspiration, and a dear friend. I was proud to be by his side when we led the first gun violence prevention sit-in on the House floor. On his 84th birthday, I’m reflecting on his heroic life and commitment to justice.

Greetings Black Planners and Equity Partners,
My name is A'ndrea Paxton, and I'm beckoning you to Make Black History 2024 in a movement to rebuild Historical Black Wall Street Districts and Black Business Corridors across Illinois and the country. Please join The Black Wall Street Global Movement, Illinois Black Wall Street and Planning Black Communities Division in promoting "The Black Wall Street Act''.

Topics: "Black Planning Equity" and "End To Disparity E2D Studies''. These are key to sustaining our Historical Black Communities and Sub Quadrants while incubating new Black Businesses and Community Resource Systems. We must Sustain the Legacy of Black-African American Wealth, Reform the policies that planted seeds of destruction and Grow the SocioEconomic foundation that our Elders built.

Please be a part of the live stream and virtual panel on February 29th or in person at the Historical Dusable Museum "Chicago''. For more information click on our website and page below..

Take part in an Equity Inclusion conversation long overdue. We look forward to a long term relationship and support system in Black Planning.
