Saturday, September 6 Saugatuck Dunes State Park, 10 a.m. – noon Meet at the small parking area adjacent to the Felt Mansion. Meeting Location: 42.69601977694414, -86.19424526149676

Volunteers are needed to help remove unwanted invasive species in the dry sand prairie at Saugatuck Dunes State Park. We will be hand-pulling Spotted knapweed, which threatens the open dune ecosystem and will be working in the direct sun, so be sure to dress appropriately and bring plenty of water!

Long pants and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. Register by emailing Tyler Lidgard at [email protected]

In honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day, we would like to remember the 17 conservation officers who lost their lives while serving our state.

This year, a new conservation officer was added to the memorial, located at the DNR Ram Center in Roscommon County. Sgt. Paul Durham, who died while serving in 1972, joins 16 other officers.
